Band

The Notre Dame Band is one of the premiere performing groups on campus. During the football season emphasis is placed on pep band. The band plays for all home games, and most away games. If you are on the football team, you play the music during class but are with the football team at games. The majority of band members participate in athletics. It is a pep band so there are no after school rehearsals. Concert literature will be performed throughout the year and become more of a focus after football season. The band gives a Christmas Concert and a Spring Concert. Attendance at these events outside of class is required. 

The Notre Dame Jazz Band is an extra curricular ensemble which meets during club time. The band is divided into two classes. Brass and woodwind sign up for band, and percussionists sign up for band percussion. All are welcome regardless of musical experience. Additional music courses are offered as electives.
