Teenage Years 101: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You

Not everyone understands what the laws are as they apply to teenagers and their parents, but there are a surprising number of ways available to break the law unintentionally and end up in more trouble than you imagined possible. Families with teenagers have many occasions to find themselves in trouble as they deal with issues related to drinking, drug use, or even things so simple as letting their teens have friends come over to the house. The seminar will be an opportunity for teenagers and their parents to learn about laws that can affect them and how to make good decisions should the authorities become involved.

University of Notre Dame alum, NDHS parent and local attorney, Dan Ripper, will be presenting a one-hour seminar “Teenage Years 101: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You” on September 4 at 6:00 pm in the Notre Dame High School Auditorium. The seminar will be an opportunity for teenagers and their parents to learn about laws that can affect them and how to make good decisions should the authorities become involved. This seminar is being sponsored by the University of Notre Dame Club of Chattanooga as part of their continuing education efforts in our community.
