Student Development and Learning Center
Comprised of highly-trained and skilled professionals holding advanced degrees, the Student Development and Learning Center supports each student's advancement to college, while assisting with their health, wellness, academic, and personal development.
Counseling Center
At the counseling center, counselors help students develop social, emotional and behavioral life skills through small groups and classroom lessons. Future college and career interests are established and support is offered for pre-ACT and ACT testing. Family nights, team building, and retreats are hosted by faculty.
Academic Support Group
Based on consultations with faculty and staff, one-on-one academic support is provided for students struggling with specific subjects. In addition to specific subject needs, writing and presentation skills are taught. More extensive academic plans are developed for students with failing grades. The Readiness Class is provided for each grade level. In this class, students are taught valuable lessons, including organizational skills, critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
College Guidance Center
In partnership with parents, every student participates in developing a plan to confidently take the next step after Notre Dame High School. Multiple group and individual meetings are conducted, along with financial aid sessions, college tours, application guidance, and Career Days for 11th and 12th graders.
