Seniors Build 50 Beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace

What started as an alternative to a senior retreat during the COVID-19 pandemic has now become a tradition for seniors at Notre Dame. The Class of 2023 completed the 4th Annual Senior Bed Build for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The organization builds and delivers beds (mattresses, pillows, and bedding included) to children in Chattanooga in need of a comfortable and safe place to sleep. The organization's slogan is, "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town".

Seniors sanded wood, build headboards and footboards, stained the wood, and much more. In the coming weeks, many seniors will join the weekend delivery teams to help set-up beds in area homes. For pictures of this year's build, click here.
