Greater Chattanooga Right to Life held its 3rd annual Pro-Life Oratory Contest on Saturday, March 27th at The Gathering in Hixson. Participants in the annual contest are required to research, write, and present an original five to seven minute pro-life speech - using factual and current information – on abortion, infanticide, embryonic stem cell research, or euthanasia.
Miss Belle Flasch, a Junior at Notre Dame High School and daugher of Andy and Missi Flasch, placed first in the contest receiving a $150 award plus expenses to the state-wide contest. Miss Flasch will represent Greater Chattanooga Right to Life April 24th in the Tennessee Right to Life Oratory Contest in Madison, TN.
The judges commended Miss Flasch on her compelling speech on abortion. We are excited to have Belle representing Chattanooga in the state contest and hope to see her go all the way to the National contest this summer.
