Conducted by Dianne Bruce, testing specialist and owner of River City Workshops, using actual retired tests. Students will learn the “art” of test-taking and gain familiarity with the tests, developing confidence and self-assurance. Extensive review of all test areas (English, math, reading, writing and science reasoning), as well as test-taking strategies for timing, guessing and success. Each student will receive an individualized study plan and 15 hours of extra material to use on their own.

The Irish coaching staff will lead this camp and teach the fundamentals of basketball including passing, dribbling, ball-handing, proper shooting and passing techniques, as well as offensive and defensive positioning. Relay games will be used to promote competitive spirit. Campers will be divided into groups according to age, ability and gender. Requirements: Gym shorts, shirt, tennis shoes, water bottle and snack.

Participants will receive professional instruction on the fundamentals of the game. Campers will improve their baseball skills through a wide variety of fun drills and games, focusing on proper throwing, fielding, hitting and pitching mechanics. Participants will receive individual and small group instruction. The camp will be led by former Reds/Diamondback player George Oleksik. Drinks will be provided. Requirements: Water bottle, baseball glove, tennis shoes, cleats and bat (optional).
