The Notre Dame Athletic Department has a rich and storied history.  Over the last half century, Irish teams have accumulated 15 T.S.S.A.A. State Championships in 9 different sports.  During that same period, Notre Dame Athletes have earned an impressive 84 individual State Championships.

Even more impressive is the fact that 44 of the 84 individual titles have been earned in the last decade.  Also, 4 of the 15 team titles have been notched in the last 5 years.  During this decade, 3 Irish Athletes have been recognized as All-Americans.

Another notable accomplishment for the Fighting Irish teams is that they have tallied 45 team State Final Four finishes in the last 10 years.  Since 1993, every Notre Dame team (except one) has achieved a Final Four finish in the State Tournament.  Notre Dame is one of only 2 schools in Division I to achieve this noteworthy accomplishment.
