To earn a Notre Dame diploma, a student must attend four years of high school. All students take eight classes per semester. Over a four year period, students can earn 32 credits. The minimum number of credits required for graduation will be as follows until the program has been completely phased in:  Class of 2010 – 25, Class of 2011 – 26, Class of 2012 – 28, Class of 2013 – 28.

 

For the Class of 2012 and beyond, these credits must be earned in the following distribution:

3              Science (4 units recommended for college prep)

3              Foreign Language (4 units recommended for college prep)

1              U.S. History

          Health/Wellness

½             Personal Finance

½             Geography (recommended but not required)

1              Fine Arts Elective

1              Computer/Writing Lab

7              Electives
