2009 Irish Football Recap:
After a season of much adversity the Notre Dame Irish Football team finished their season with 3 wins against 7 losses. The season got off to a good start as the 2009 seniors won their first season opener in four seasons against Grace Academy on the road. A close loss to cross-town rival Howard at home was followed by a district win against Chattanooga Christian. The injury bug struck the team in the middle of the season and resulted in a losing streak until a win against Sweetwater in game #9 righted the ship. The Irish finished with an outstanding second half at Grundy in a tough loss to end the season. Congratulations to the senior class on their football careers at Notre Dame and we are looking forward to a successful 2010 season.
