Notre Dame Athletics plays an integral role in the overall education and development of our students. Our program provides opportunities for students to grow and develop physically, mentally, spiritually and socially.
More specifically, our program is designed to teach and develop students in the areas of teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, physical fitness, leadership, integrity and personal responsibility. By following these characteristics, Notre Dame strives to develop a well-rounded student-athlete that has a competitive spirit and is guided by the principles of respect and good sportsmanship.
These are principles that enhance our student-athletes' chances for individual and team success in high school while building the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life in the future.
Notre Dame offers 16 varsity sports. Seventy-five percent of our students are involved in at least one sport. The combined average GPA for student athletes at Notre Dame is 3.5.
